The Life writing and Memoir Course for 2012 finished on Saturday, 1 September. Fourteen wonderful participants met at Wellington’s historic Thistle Inn every second Saturday over a 3 month period.
Our guest speakers were Mary McCallum, Rachel McAlpine, Harry Ricketts, Craig Cliff and Stephen Minchin.
The culmination of the course was a moving and eventful celebration of great stories and some excellent writing, when all the group read from their works in progress.
For the many inquiries already coming in, yes, I plan to hold the course again next year. Watch this space for dates.
